The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the official notification for the All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2025. This exam is conducted for admission to classes 6 and 9 in Sainik Schools across India for the academic session 2025-26. Eligibility Criteria:
- For Class 6 Admission:
- The candidate should be between 10 and 12 years of age as of March 31, 2025.
- Admission is open for both boys and girls.
- The candidate should have passed Class 5 from a recognized school.
- For Class 9 Admission:
- The candidate should be between 13 and 15 years of age as of March 31, 2025.
- The candidate should have passed Class 8 from a recognized school.
- Admission for girls is open in Class 9, subject to vacancy.
Exam Details:
- Mode of Exam: Offline (Pen-paper, OMR-based)
- Exam Pattern: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
- Exam Centers: 190 cities across India
- Medium of Exam: For Class 6, the exam will be in English and regional languages; for Class 9, the exam will be conducted in English only.
AISSEE 2025 Application Fee:
- General/OBC (NCL)/Defence/Ex-Servicemen: ₹800/-
- SC/ST: ₹650/-
Post-Exam Process:
The candidates who qualify for the AISSEE 2025 exam will be shortlisted for a medical examination. The final merit list will be prepared based on performance in both the written exam and the medical round.
